High End Treat or Sentimental High Street? | Wedding Fragrance

There's so much to think about when planning a wedding, from your venue and your dress to the smaller things you probably hadn't even thought of before, like what type of button hole you're going to have or the style of place card. Today I need help choosing my fragrance for the day. I'm not sure wether to go with a high end treat or a sentimental high street staple?

For my 25th birthday Simon and I visited Brighton for a few days. I decided to treat myself to a fancy little Jo Malone fragrance. I pushed the boat slightly out and spent the £47 for a 45ml bottle. I chose Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede. It's described as charming and flirtatious thanks to its top note of juicy red apple and the lovely feminine touch of peony. This perfume is beautiful, elegant, seductive, fun and flirty - it's everything and more! As soon as I picked it, I was thinking this could be my wedding perfume! It's so feminine and classy - exactly how you would want to feel on your wedding day. I can't help but think how gorgeous this would be in the getting ready photos too. This could be the perfect wedding fragrance.

I've also been thinking that I should probably use a perfume that's more sentimental. When I first met Simon I used to wear Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy. It's very affordable at only £18 for a 100ml bottle (you can even find it cheaper than that sometimes!).  This has been my all time go to fragrance for years as it's so delicious and fruity but so affordable. Simon and I used to work together and he said he used to love smelling this, as he knew I would be around somewhere. He really likes the sweet fruity scent too. It's kind of turned in to a sentimental fragrance as I used to wear it when we were first seeing each other. This is a much more sexy but sweet scent rather than the sickly sweet original Britney Spears Fantasy perfume, it has always been a trusty staple for me.

I'm not sure which scent I prefer, I love them both. Do I go with a high end treat with the Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede or with my sentimental high street Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy?

What would be be your go to wedding perfume beauties?
