July Favourites | 2015

July Favourites | 2015

After almost a year I'm back with some monthly favourites! I always love July as it's my Birthday month, I usually have a bit of holiday too, plus the sun is shining (some of the time!) of course. This month I have treated myself to a couple of new products I've been wanting for ages and also tried to get back on track with my skincare. Here's what I've been LOVING this month.

July Favourites | 2015

My skincare routine has always been a bit of an issue for me the last 3/4 years, I can't seem to find the perfect products to help with my acne scars and redness. After purchasing the Origins Essentials Only set £15 and using Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser £24, I've really started to love this as it doesn't irritate my skin. It keeps my skin moisturised without leaving a greasy film and it also smells amazing! It smells like fresh oranges which I love because it instantly makes me feel refreshed, it's gorgeous. I've now picked up the 50ml and I know this will last me a long time, as the smaller one lasting a good few months! If you're having trouble finding a moisturiser to help with your acne scars, redness or dullness, then I advise you to try this one as it really does give you a little pick me up!

I've been wanting to try the ByTerry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eye Shadow £29 since I've seen so many You-Tubers mentioning them and they just look so beautiful too! So when Simon and I went shopping on my Birthday, I knew I had to treat my self. I picked up Misty Rock, a gorgeous shimmering bronze with an almost pink rose hint to it. I was immediately impressed with how creamy and easy to apply they are. When I was in the shop I swatched a few on my hand and found it near impossible to wipe off! I was very impressed, if only they could make foundations this durable! The best way to apply this is to do a light wash over the eye and blend with your finger tips. The selling point for me is the gorgeous glittery shimmers these give you, they make the finish look so beautiful and luxurious. I now have my eye on at least 3 more!

So this Summer Rimmel has brought out the exciting Nude Collection by Kate £5.49 and of course I was sucked in straight away, as I have always had a deep love for the Lasting Finish Lipsticks! I picked up three even though I'm not even a nude lipstick type of girl! But I have been loving 45, its a darker deep rose nude which is so easy to wear, great for those just trying nudes and don't want the full on concealer lips! I've been loving this, this Summer as it's a great subtle lipstick that won't clash with the bright shimmery cheeks I've been sporting lately! Here's what  I thought about more of the Nude Collection.

I bought the gorgeous Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set £56.95 this month after months of wanting it, I finally caved and thank god I did because I absolutely love it. You can see my thoughts on the whole set here. One of the stand out brushes for me was the 102 Silk Finish Brush, I think I've used it pretty much every time since I've had it. It's the perfect shape for all over. It's not too big or too small and it's so soft and fluffy, it really blends nicely. It makes applying my foundation much quicker as well as giving a gorgeous finish.

I have been blusher mad this month and have bought at least 4! The latest one I've bought is Soap & Glory's Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick £11. It's perfect for Summer thanks to the gorgeous shimmers that make sure you don't really need a highlight! This blush has gorgeous peach, rose, bronze and highlight shades to make sure you have that beautiful shimmering, subtle peach blush to make you Summer ready. As this has so many gorgeous shades you can use it for a blush, highlight or even a bit of contour, you gotta love a multi-tasker!
