Autumn Eye Shadows

Autumn Eye Shadows NARS Kalahari Duo, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fantasy, Urban Decay Naked Palette, Charlotte Tilbury's Golden Goddess Luxury Eye Shadow Palette, MAC Mulch & MAC Cranberry.
Finally it's time for all the Autumn posts and I couldn't be more excited! I have lots of Autumn and Winter goodness coming your way and today, I thought I'd talk about some of my favourite Autumn eye shadows. Last year I talked about my favourite Autumn Bronze Eye Shadows and this year I want to do a bit more of an updated version.

Autumn Eye Shadows NARS Kalahari Duo, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fantasy.
I still want to include my NARS Kalahari because it's just sooo pretty! I'm not going to talk about this too much as I did last year too, but it's just the perfect little duo for Autumn time. It has a beautiful shimmering bronze shade and a matte warm bronzed chocolate. These are the perfect pair to give you a warm glittering Autumn eye look. I like to use the shimmer for the base and matte in the crease, it's great for everyday - definitely a duo to get your hands on.
The newest addition to my eye shadow collection is Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Fantasy. Maybelline have bought some new gorgeous shades out this Autumn and I'm loving Fantasy right now. It's a beautiful metallic shimmering bronze with a gorgeous silver flex running through it. I want to describe it as a bronze taupe but funnily enough Maybelline already have a 'Bronze Taupe' in this range. I love the fact you don't need any other shadows when you use the Color Tattoos. I like to just blend this in with my fingers and it creates a look all by itself. Apply it deeper in the crease and you won't need anything else.

Autumn Eye Shadows Charlotte Tilbury The Golden Goddess Luxury Eye Shadow Palette
Another palette that just has Autumn written all over it is Charlotte Tilbury's Golden Goddess Luxury Palette. These have got to be some of the softest and creamiest shadows I have ever used. They feel so soft, almost like a cream shadow even though they are powder - it's mind blowing! All the shades in this are just so perfect for Autumn, I've done a full post on all the shades here. Today I'm going to talk about the first shade in the palette, a warm champagne shimmer. This is the perfect base to any bronze eye look. I like to pair this with the last shade in the palette. The reddish golden bronze. I use this shade in the crease for a bronze eye with a warm red hint. I can't wait to bring this palette out again, all of the shades are just beautiful.

Autumn Eye Shadows Urban Decay Naked Palette, MAC Mulch and MAC Cranberry
Another newby this year to my collection is the original Urban Decay NAKED palette, how have I only just got this!? I'm a massive bronze eyes fan, so this is literally the perfect palette and definitely perfect for Autumn. The two shades I've been drawn to recently are Sin for the base and Sidecar in the crease. Sin's a shimmering pink champagne, great to give you a light shimmering base. The one I've really been loving though is Sidecar. Sidecar is a true golden brown bronze. It's just beautiful, I can't stop staring at it. The formula is lovely and creamy, it's so soft to the touch. Of course the shade blends beautifully. Sidecar really adds a gorgeous warmth to your look for the Autumn time.
Last but not least I want to share two of my favourite MAC eye shadows from my palette, that I think will be perfect this time of year. The first is Mulch, another bronzed brown with a tiny bit of golden shimmer. Mulch is a velvet finish so it has a gorgeous soft formula, making this so easy to apply and blend. Another warm neutral shade perfect for Autumn time. The last shadow I want to talk about is Cranberry. I haven't even used this yet but I bought it recently especially for Autumn time. It's a beautiful (you guessed it) cranberry red with a warm purple tint to it. This is going to be lovely this time of year, the shimmer is subtle and it does feel a little festive. I can't wait to use this, I think this is going to be the perfect shade to steer me away from my usual golden bronzes.

I hope you've enjoyed this years Autumn eye shadows, what are your favourite shades this time of year?

  4. Tbh I feel that any nude palette that has some good deeper nudes are great for autumn. Also I was also thinking that Mophe35O would be a bomb palette for autumn. Right now I'm keeping it super simple and just really using a chocolate brown matte eyeshadow. I'm not one to play with eyeshadows that much but I love using it in the outer corner to add depth and give it a smoky feeling. And recently I used a reddish pink color to line the eyes and I loved it. Makes me want to play with pops of color!
