The Body Shop Haul

The Body Shop Haul Strawberry Body Butter, Camomile Cleansing Butter, Vitamin E Sleeping Mask, Strawberry Body Sorbet, British Rose Bath Foam.
OK it happened again, I found myself on The Body Shop website and the discount and free gift signs were screaming at me. It's not my fault I had to do this! I've been doing a lot of shopping recently, but I don't feel too guilty I've managed to get a lot of savings! The Body Shop have recently sucked us all in with 30% off and a free gift, oh you shouldn't have Body Shop!

Of course I took them up on that offer and had myself a little spree.
One of the first products I knew I wanted was one I had used a long time ago. It always reminds me of my teenage years, I was obsessed with the sweet strawberry scent! I picked up the Strawberry Softening Body Butter. You can't not pick up a body butter when browsing The Body Shop right!? Strawberry has got to be one of my favourite The Body Shop scents, it's so fruity and girly. I can't wait to start using this again.

Next is a product I've been wanting and meaning to try for soooo long, the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. I've seen so many people talk about this, it just sounds like the perfect cleansing balm/butter. I always like to use more natural and simple products on my face. I don't want to cause any irritation. The Body Shop describes the camomile extract as calming and this just sounded perfect for me. I've only tried one cleansing balm/butter before, Clinique's Take The Day Off  Balm and I really enjoyed the soothing, moisturising formula. I have high hopes for my Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, it seems to have the same moisturising and gentle texture and of course, it smells very soothing and calming too!

Sticking with the soothing skincare, I thought I'd check out the masks. I love a good mask but hardly ever use them! I really want to start using them more. This time I picked up the Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Sleeping Mask. This just sounds perfect, it's a soothing moisture filled mask, that I don't have to take off, (the lazy girl in me thinks this is the perfect skincare product!). I love that this is filled with protective Vitamin E and moisturising Wheatgerm oil, I'm all about the natural ingredients! I struggle with breakouts, I never seem to not have something going on, on my face, but I also think my skin is pretty dehydrated. Usually a sink in moisture filled mask would scare me into thinking it would cause breakouts, but this is for all skin types - and because it's packed with Vitamin E, I'm hoping this is exactly what my skin needs!

Next I decided to treat myself to a luxurious bubble bath, I picked up the British Rose Petal-Soft Bath Foam. I usually go to LUSH for my bubbles, but I wanted to try something new and came across this pretty pink rose bath foam. I haven't used this yet but I've read that it leaves gorgeous soft foam bubbles, that are said to leave you feeing silky smooth. I can't wait to give this a go, I'm loving this pretty British Rose scent too, it's very relaxing!

The Body Shop always have the best discounts and gifts, this time I got a free 200ml Body Sorbet. I chose strawberry, as I can't get enough of the sweet scent! I've never tried a Body Sorbet before, but this sounds gorgeous! You use this like any other body moisturiser after you bathe. It has the same fruity strawberry scent as the Body Butter, but with a lighter, fast absorbing formula. I think this is going to be the perfect Summer option, I can't stop sniffing it!

I'm very excited by all of my new The Body Shop goodies and I can't wait to start using them in my day to day routines (I'm sure I'll be back with some reviews soon!). The Body Shop always have amazing discounts on their gorgeous products, so I really recommend checking them out and trying some of their lovely products!
Have you picked up anything from The Body Shop recently?

NARS Audacious Anita

NARS Audacious Lipstick Anita
If you're a regular reader here, you'll know I can't get enough of matte nude lipsticks at the moment. There's just something about that plump nude matte look, we just can't get enough of recently! I don't know if it's the fact it makes us feel more like a Kardashian or what, but I just can't get enough! Back in March I posted my Selfridge's Beauty Haul after a trip away to London. I picked up my first ever NARS Audacious Lipstick, Anita.

NARS Audacious Lipstick Anita
I've said plenty of times that NARS is probably my favourite and go to high end beauty brand. I just love everything they come out with and the massive selection of shades, so I thought it was about time to get my hands on one of their lipsticks, finally! I knew straight away I wanted something from the Audacious range, I've heard nothing but positive things. I'm not going to lie, the gorgeous sleek black packaging and the very cool magnetic closure, did persuade me further (my boyfriend, Simon was very impressed with the closure!). I was on the hunt for yet another matte nude (when am I not!?), when the lovely sales assistant showed me Anita.
I couldn't help but notice how pigmented Anita is! This is a gorgeous warm toned rose pink nude. The formula is a perfect mix of matte and satin - creamy enough for easy and moisturising application, but also very pigmented with a gorgeous satin matte finish. Like the rest of us, I love the matte look but can't stand the usual dry formula, so I'm always very excited when I find a more satin velvetty finish. Sometimes I pair this with my MAC Soar lip liner, this complements these rosy toned nudes very well. I'd love to try some NARS liners next I think! Anita is very long lasting and looks gorgeous hours later.

I'm so in love with my first Audacious lipstick and I really want to add to my collection. I've also got my eye on the new NARS Lip Covers  - NARS' answer to liquid matte lippsticks, how exciting!

Have you got any NARS Audacious Lipsticks in your collection? What should I go for next?

NARS Haul

NARS Haul, Audacious Natalie Lipstick, Sin Blush, Orgasm Illuminator
I've really been trying not to buy any new beauty products recently and just enjoy the ones I have for the time being. As I'm sure most of you will understand this can be a very tricky task, especially when a fellow beauty blogger tweets about ASOS beauty sales! I don't know whether to thank her or cry, but I've come to the conclusion that we need to take these opportunities when we can - they don't come around very often!

Of course I couldn't help myself and made my way to ASOS, knowing that I was after just one brand, NARS. If you're a regular reader, you'll know that I'm a little NARS obsessed and I can't get enough! I kept it to just a few new goodies, I didn't want to go OTT or anything!
One of the first things I always love to have a look at are the blushers, I can't get enough of NARS blushers, they're always just so on point and so iconic! They have such an amazing range, I'm always wanting to add to my collection. This time I picked up 'sin'. I've been after a purple based blush for a while and I've been buying a lot of peachy blushers lately for Summer, so I fancied a bit of a change. Sin is a gorgeous cool berry purple, with a golden sheen. This can look a little scary and dark in the pan but it's so beautiful swatched. I know I'm going to love this, especially this Autumn (I know I'm a bit too keen for Autumn!).

The next thing I knew I wanted more of, were the NARS Audacious Lipsticks. I bought Anita a few months ago and I'm obsessed with it. I can't get enough of the satin formula, it glides on so creamy but gives an almost matte look - the perfect combo! Of course the packaging is beautiful and sleek and I'm a little too obsessed with the magnetic closure! This time I fancied something a little brighter and more suitable for Summer, I picked up 'Natalie'. Natalie is a beautiful peachy pink, I can't wait to wear this, this Summer. I think this will be the perfect flirty fun shade!

The last thing I let myself buy on my naughty little online shopping slip up, was the Orgasm Illuminator. Honestly, I've been a bit scared of liquid highlights, so I've kind of steered away from this for a long time. I just don't really know how to use these properly and I don't want to ruin my makeup. I've decided it was about time to give this a go though, I've seen this all over the place for years, so this Summer is the Summer to master the liquid highlight! I haven't tried this yet but it looks so beautiful, of course I'm a big fan of NARS' iconic 'Orgasm' range, I'm a sucker for the golden peachy pink goodness! I really hope I can get that illuminating healthy glow that everyone else can achieve.

I'm sure I will be talking about my new NARS products a lot more once I've gave them a proper go, I can't wait to go and play with my new goodies!

What are our favourite NARS products?

The Perfect Summer Blush Palette | Zoeva Coral Spectrum

Zoeva Coral Spectrum Blush Palette
One of my main beauty goals for Summer, was to find the perfect peach toned blush. I wanted something to warm my makeup looks up for the Summer time because my blush collection consists of a lot of pinks! As I watched one of Estée Lalonde's new videos, she showed us her new Zoeva Pink Spectrum Blush Palette and I paused and went right on over to Beauty Bay to have a look myself. The palette looked absolutely gorgeous! Then I spotted the Coral Spectrum palette and I couldn't help myself, I bought it right there and then, could this be the perfect Summer blush palette!?

Zoeva Coral Spectrum Blush Palette
The Zoeva Coral Spectrum Blush Palette consists of 4 warm toned coral/peach blushes - 3 matte and 1 shimmer. I was very excited that there were so many matte shades, I don't think I actually own any other matte blushes, I always pick up shimmer! I think the mattes will be great for everyday natural looks, also great if you want to go a bit OTT on the highlight! The formula on all of these generous sized shades, is sooo creamy and very soft. They can be slightly powdery/crumbly when you first use them, but after the first use the fall out is minimal. All shades are very pigmented, so you can really build your blush look.

Top Left - Shimmering coral with a golden peach shimmer.
Top Right - Matte bright coral pink.
Bottom Left - Matte pale warm nude.
Bottom Right - Matte pale pink.

All of these shades are on the warmer side, so this is definitely the perfect palette for Summertime. I love how this has a selection, you can really use this palette for all kind of looks. It has paler, more simple shades for natural everyday looks and more vibrant and shimmery shades, for a brighter more sun kissed look. I'm very impressed with my first make up product from Zoeva, I couldn't be more impressed by the quality of these blushes (especially for just £15!). I would love to try out some more Zoeva makeup products and I definitely think I'll be ordering the Pink Spectrum Palette.

Have you picked up anything from Zoeva lately? What kind of blush do you go for in the Summer?

Spring Blushers

Spring Blushers NARS Orgasm, Zoeva Coral Spectrum Blush Palette, MAC Dollymix, Soap & Glory Peach Party, Charlotte Tilbury Love Glow
It may not seem it, but we are now full swing into Spring and Summer is just around the corner. One of the things I like to consciously make an effort to switch up each season, are my blushers. I love to add a brighter pop of colour, bring in the peachy coral tones or just shimmer that cheek bone up! I've previously shared my go to Spring Makeup PicksSpring Lip Glosses and My Spring Nail Picks, so I thought, it was about time to share with you my Spring blushers.

One of my all time holy grail blushers, has recently found its way back into my most used make-up bag and I seem to be using it all the time. NARS is always a winner in my books and I can't get enough of their blushers! I'm welcoming back my good old NARS Orgasm (to be honest I don't think it really left!). This is the most gorgeous warm pink with a beautiful peachy tone to it and to top it all of, a beautiful golden shimmer. Orgasm is soooo gorgeous for Spring/Summer, I love how it brightens up my cheeks and leaves me with a beautiful sun kissed shimmer. This will always be a winner all year round, but Orgasm is definitely on top of the blush game this Season!

Another peachy toned shimmering beauty, I just love in the Spring is, Soap & Glory's Peach Party. If you're after that sun kissed shimmering look this Spring/Summer, then Peach Party is definitely a great option for you. This is similar to Orgasm but a lot more peachy, thanks to the golden and bronze toned shades. Peach Party consists of 4 beautiful shimmering shades - golden pink, champagne, golden peach and a bronze. Swirled together these make your go to holiday blush look.

If I'm not feeling the super shimmering, disco ball peach tones, I'm usually feeling the brighter pinks this time of year. Another blush I've been using a lot recently is Charlotte Tilbury's Cheek to Chic in Love Glow. This is one of Charlotte's swish and pop blushers - perfect for that pop of brightness! I love this when you want that girly/slightly innocent look. It's a pretty true pink shade with a pearlescent glow. This is perfect for a duey glowing Summer look. Both shades are so gorgeously creamy, it probably is the softest blush I've ever used.

If I really want a bright stronger look, I go for MAC's Dollymix. This is a true dolly pink shade. This looks a lot scarier in the pan than it is on the cheek. Dollymix is so pigmented, so a little goes a long way. You can use a little for a flirty flush of colour or build it up for brighter cheek. I love that this gives me a lovely glow but isn't too shimmery, If you haven't tried this because you think it looks too daring, then I really recommend you give it a go - it's a lot prettier and subtle than you would think.

The newest addition to my blush collection is the Zoeva Coral Spectrum Blush Palette. I must admit I haven't had this long but I just know I will be using this everyday from now on, it just has so much selection! Each blush is beautifully soft and creamy, I'm very impressed! This is the perfect palette for Spring, it has everything you could want - A bright matte pink, a softer rose pink, a matte nude orange and a shimmering peachy pink. I'm most excited about the shimmering peach and the more subtle rose pink, but I'm also very intrigued my the matte nude/orange, I haven't got another shade like this so I can't wait to try it out. Once I've used this a bit more I'm sure I will do a post on this, so look out for that!
