MAC Haul Burgundy Times Nine, Amber Times Nine and Whirl Lip Pencil
Christmas has been and gone and I've been buying gifts for people for the last couple of months, I thought it was about time to get myself a little treat. I was browsing the MAC site for a gift for my best friend and couldn't help but pick up a couple things for myself to, sometimes you gotta treat yourself right?

MAC Haul Burgundy Times Nine Eyeshadow Palette
I read a post a week or two ago that featured the MAC Burgundy Times Nine Eyeshadow Palette and I just thought it was the most gorgeous palette I had ever seen! The palette just looks like Winter shimmery mauve heaven and I had to get my hands on it! I'm not going to lie, I thought this palette was going to consist of 9 full size eye shadows and I'd have bagged myself the bargain of the century. In actual fact the shadows are probably half the size, but they are super cute and the palette does make the perfect hand bag accessory. The palette is filled with gorgeous burgundy hues in an array of different textures from matte to frost and satin to veluxe pearl. From left to right:
Honey Lust (lustre) | Golden peach shimmer
Poppysead (satin) | Matte rose nude
Quarry (matte) | Soft light nude brown
Antiqued (Veluxe Pearl) | Dark copper bronze
Embark (matte) | Dark brown with an earthy red feel
#Noir (velvet) | Deep black/brown with golden shimmer
Haux (veluxe pearl) | Rose nude matte
Star Violet (deluxe pearl) | Copper plum
Sketch (Velvet) | Burgundy with red shimmer
The shades are gorgeous and offer countless burgundy eye looks in one neat little package. I think Honey Lust, Antiqued and Star violet have got to be my favourite. The shades are beautiful and the formulas feel so soft and silky. I haven't used most of them on my eyes yet, but I have noticed the colour pay off isn't quite like the full size pans. For just £25 though, I think this is a staple for Winter time!

MAC Haul Amber Times Nine Eyeshadow Palette and Whirl Lip Pencil
I couldn't just stop at one palette, I had to pick up Amber Times Nine as well! I just couldn't choose between the two! Amber Times Nine is a beautiful selection of Amber neutral hues that will have the golden nude lover in us screaming! Again this palette has a mix of mattes, satin, frosts, lustres and velvet shades. From left to right:
Cozy Grey (matte) | Matte cool grey
Kitties (Frost) | Champagne gold
Georgia Peach (matte) | Pale rose pink
Ricepaper (frost) | Pale champagne peach
Creative Copper (lustre) | Light golden shimmer
Cork (satin) | Golden brown nude
Don't Tell (lustre) | Dark golden shimmery brown
Aromatic (matte) | Dark matte brown with subtle grey undertone
Pepper Please (velvet) | Shimmery bronze charcoal brown
This will be the perfect everyday palette. I'm a sucker for a champagne/bronze eye and I know I'll get a lot of use out of this, especially in the Summer. My favourite shades are Creative Copper, Cork and Don't Tell.

I've been meaning to buy more MAC lip liners since I got my first one Soar a while pack. I just love it so much, it really helps define your lips and up your lip game! I picked up Whirl, it's a shade darker than Soar. A dirty rose with more of a burgundy feel. This is going to be perfect this time of year. I love a warm dark rose nude lip! This will be great to create that Kylie Jenner lip. I think this is going to be perfect with Velvet Teddy and Brave!

I'm so excited to use my new MAC goodies, I can't wait to create a beautiful Winter look with my Burgundy Times Nine and Whirl lip liner!

What are you favourite MAC shadow and liners beauties?

My Top 5 Christmas Movies

My Top Five Christmas Films, Love Actually, Arthur Christmas, The Santa Clause, ELF & Home Alone.
It's the month we've been all been waiting for, for the past eleven, it's December and Christmas is in full swing! I start thinking about Christmas in August but December is the month we can officially start to celebrate and not get judged for it! The build up to Christmas is one of the most exciting parts for me. I love to Christmas shop, decorate, plan and watch Christmas films. Today I want to share with you five of my most favourite must have Christmas films to watch during the Christmas period.

1. Love Actually | We've kind of made it a bit of a tradition of watching Love Actually an ordering Prezzo pizza on Christmas Eve. I look forward to this so much. Love actually is a classic British romcon with a festive feel to it. We follow the love lives of more than a dozen characters during the Christmas period with a climax at Christmas eve. Love Actually is filled with all the laughter and all the feels. I can't go a year without being snuggled up and watching Love Actually!

2. Arthur Christmas | I watched Arthur Christmas last year for the first time and absolutely loved it, I think this is my new favourite Christmas film! This animated family comedy will show you what really goes on in the North Pole and high tech operation of delivering the world their Christmas presents, in just one night. We get to know the dysfunctional Santa family and learn which of Santa's two sons will take on the role of Santa Clause when their Father retires.

3. Elf | Is it really Christmas if you don't watch Elf? ELF is a Christmas family classic. We follow Buddy and his adventure in to New York to find his biological Dad. Buddy grew up in the North Pole and believes he is an Elf (all 6ft of him!). Until Santa sends him off to find his Father, after his size starts to become a liability in the elf-sized working environment. Elf will truly have the whole family laughing - the perfect after dinner Christmas film!

4. The Santa Clause | To me this is a Christmas classic and I find myself watching The Santa Clause every year. We follow Scott Calvin (a non believer) and his son Charlie (Santa's number one fan). Scott Calvin is forced to take on the role of Santa Clause when the previous falls of his roof, Scott finds himself putting on weight, growing a beard and fastly becoming Santa Clause! We watch as this interrupts Scott's life tremendously, will he manage to get into the spirit of things?

5. Home Alone | The Home Alone films are THE family Christmas classics! You can't go a Christmas without watching at least one! We watch the McCallister family prepare for a trip away but fail to keep track of Kevin McCallister. Kevin is left Home Alone during the Christmas period and must learn to fend for himself, but he also has bigger problems. We see him continuously fight of two incompetent burglars. This film is full of classic comedy that will have all the family laughing.

Of course there are so many more amazing Christmas films but these are the ones I watch without fail every Christmas. You just can't beat a good Christmas film and a warm hot chocolate to get you in the festive spirit.

What will you be watching the Christmas beauties?

My favourites are Frost Cranberry and Snow Kissed Citrus!

We've reached the end of my gigantic Christmas Bath & Body Works Haul. I'm very happy I finally have my festive candles and I'm loving enjoying them this festive season. I think I have enough to last me a good while so I won't be making another order for a while (Simon's actually banned me!)

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette Review
As a lover of makeup and beauty I'm all about trying new brands and products. I've been meaning to try Sleek Makeup for so long now but it was never in my local Boots, until recently! As soon as I saw  Sleek Makeup up close and personal, I just had to get my hands on the Solstice Palette. I thought this would be a good place to start since everyone seems to rave about it and you know I can't resist a good highlight!

Sleek's Solstice palette has four beautiful highlight shades, two baked powders, one creamy formula and one silky shimmer powder. At first I thought they were all creamy because they just look so soft and luxurious, but to my surprise only one is. I do love a powder highlight, so I'm glad most of them are powders. Sleek have built this palette with the thought of each different shade being used for different parts of your face.
1. Ecliptic | Ecliptic is the one cream formula in this palette. It's a gorgeous rose nude that will lift your brows when used across the brow bone.
2. Hemisphere | A cool toned pink/purple baked highlight with silver shimmer designed to add shimmer to your cheek bones.
3. Subsolar | A warm toned luxe powder used to create highlight down the bridge of your nose.
4. Equinox | A shimmering warm peach highlight created for the cupids bow.

All of these shades are to die for, I can't even pick my favourite. The quality of the powders is so luxurious, they feel very silky and high end. I love the different shades and of course the high pigmented metallic finishes are so dreamy. Personally after following the steps on the box and using the shades for different parts of my face, I think I would prefer to just go with one or two of the shades for everything. I think the shades themselves are just so versatile they shouldn't be restricted to one job. I love the mix of cool tones and warmer shades in this palette, it makes it perfect all year round and for every mood. I'm very impressed with quality of my first Sleek product and think the Solstice palette is great value for money, you get four decent sized beautiful quality products for under £10. This is definitely one of the best highlighting palettes I've seen/used on the high street.

I'm very impressed with my first Sleek product and now feel the need to explore the whole brand. What do I need to get my hands on next beauties?

My NARS Obsession

My NARS Obsession including NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, NARS Blushers, NARS Eyeshadow Duo's, NARS Audacious Lipsticks and NARS Velvet Lip Glides.
Today I'm here with a very exciting post that I've been wanting to do for a while now, a post all about NARS! As you may know already if you read my posts or watch my videos, I'm OBSESSED with NARS! I can't get enough, they were one of the first high end brands I ever tried and they just stuck. I've never been disappointed with any products and I think it's about time I share my love affair with NARS, officially!
Naturally I'm going to start of with the base products. Of course I just had to get my hands on NARS Sheer Glow the foundation of all foundations! When I was first getting into make up, Sheer Glow was the foundation that everyone talked about, so of course I needed to try it. It's a beautiful lightweight formula that gives you flawless even skin with a natural 'sheer glow'.  A little goes a long way and you can really build this up to suit you. I love how easy it is to find your perfect shade with their massive shade range. Sheer glow leaves my skin so radiant, soft and smooth - I almost feel like a new woman!
The next base product that is an absolute staple in my makeup collection is of course NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This concealer is just perfect, it just does so much more than any other concealer out there. I love to use this to conceal my blemishes, it's very buildable and easily hides any nasties, but at the same time it's not cakey. Your skin will be radiant and soft and looking gorgeously healthy. This is also perfect for under the eyes. It will hide any dark circles and give you light radiant under eyes. If you're looking for a high end concealer, you need to try this!

My NARS Obsession including NARSissist palette, NARS Sin Blusher, NARS Orgasm Blusher and NARS Deep Throat Blusher.
The first love affair I had with NARS was with Orgasm blush. I think this may have even been my first NARS product. When I think blush, there's nothing more iconic than a NARS blush. They're just so reliable and perfect you cannot go wrong with a NARS blush! The first couple I picked up were Orgasm and Deep Throat, I think these two are the most iconic blushers out there. Orgasm is a gorgeous peachy pink with golden shimmer. This will brighten your cheeks and add warmth to your look in an instant - a true staple! Deep throat is more of a deeper soft pink, again with golden shimmers to add warmth. This will instantly give you a healthy radiant finish thanks to the beautiful soft and silky formula. At the moment I can't get enough of Sin. Sin is a deep mauve with yes, you guessed it - a golden shimmer. This is perfect for the Autumn/Winter, I love the purply shade with the subtle warm shimmer, it's just beautiful!
I fell deep in love with NARS blushers, I couldn't wait to try the much loved Laguna Bronzer and Albatross Highlight. I got myself a NARSissist palette a year or two ago that conveniently has the two together, three blushers and a lipgloss - how perfect is that!? Laguna is a gorgeous diffused brown with golden shimmers, it's perfect to add a beautiful warmth to many skin tones. I love that it's not over powering or orange, a bronzer can be hard to find for paler skin. This adds a subtle healthy warmth to my look without making me look like a wotsit! I also like to use this to add a bit of contour to my face, I use it to sculpt my nose and cheekbones and it really gives a natural defined look. Of course Albatross is equally as beautiful. This is the perfect highlight shade. I love how it has transparent pigments, this really helps give you a gorgeous radiant glow without looking to heavy or cakey. This will give you a natural shimmer perfect for everyday. Of course like any NARS product this is so versatile and you can also go all out and build this up, to get your perfect 'disco ball' look (in a more classy/beautiful way of course!).

My NARS Obsession Kalahari Eyeshadow Duo
Another product that I've really been impressed with is the NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Kalahari. I only have one duo, I need to get my hands on more because I can't get enough of Kalahari. I'm a big lover of the copper bronze shades, I just think they look so gorgeous on brown eyes so this is the perfect duo for me. The duo consists of a taupe brown/plum and a shimmering copper bronze. I love that you have one super shimmering glitter shade and a more of a subtle shade. This just makes the perfect duo to create a gorgeous bronze/brown eye. The shades are so pigmented and warm, this makes application easy and stress free. This is the perfect handbag staple, I find myself reaching for this a lot. I can't wait to get my hands on some more gorgeous duo's, they're just the perfect eye look in one handy little package.

My NARS Obsession NARS Audacious Lipstick and NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Bound.
Last but certainly not least I want to share with you my favourite NARS lip products. I'm OBSESSED with the NARS Audacious lipsticks and my favourite so far is Anita. I've talked about this lipstick so much but I just need to share! I'm obsessed with the warm nudes at the moment and Anita is just perfect. It has a gorgeous satin finish, that just feels so smooth and creamy on my lips - it's effortless to wear. The formula is creamy and moisturising, there's not a crack in sight! Of course I love the packaging of all NARS products (how could you not?) but the audacious range just has the coolest magnetic closure - I love it!
My newest NARS love that I just need to get more of our the NARS Velvet Lip Glides. I have 'bound' and again, I'm OBSESSED! I love a liquid lipstick so I just couldn't wait to try a NARS version. I'm all about the rose nudes at the moment and Bound is perfect. The formula is creamy and moisturising and so easy to wear. The applicator is very soft making it a joy to apply and so easy to get a precise finish. These truly have a velvet smooth finish packed with a high pigment punch!

There's not a NARS products I've tried and haven't loved, I couldn't recommend their products enough. I'm so glad I've finally talked about some of my all time favourite NARS products, I now want to go makeup shopping and pick up a load more!

What are your favourite NARS products beauties?

Why Do We Keep Our Blogs Secret From Our 'Real Worlds'?

Why Do We Keep Our Blogs Secret From Our Real World MacBook Air Charlotte Tilbury NARS YSL Kate Spade
I have a question. Why do so many of us keep our blogs top secret? We desperately try and promote and grow our following, but we refuse to let anyone we actually know in the real world in.
I read a post a couple of weeks ago that just stuck with me, I found it so interesting to hear someone else's thoughts on sharing their blog and realised I'd love to share mine. Sadly after spending a good half an hour trying to find the girl who wrote the post, I can't seem to find it anymore. She wrote about her experience with sharing her blog with people in her - what I like to call "real life". As I've been blogging for nearly three years and started a YouTube channel this year too, I've realised I have a lot of opinions on the matter.

I kept my blog top secret from pretty much the majority of people in my 'real life',  for probably over two and a half years. Only just the past two months I would say everyone in my life has started to find out. I find it so interesting how most of us keep this part of our lives so secret. We put so much time, work and effort into creating our blogs, hoping, just maybe it may lead to something bigger. We spend the majority of our time trying to grow our following, but yet we refuse to share this part of us to real people, in our real worlds. Are we embarrassed? Are we Ashamed?
Sadly I think this may of been the case with me. Although when I think about what I've created and how much work and time I've put into my little space on the internet, I can't help but be a little proud of myself. I'm proud that I've managed to create a space that I'm passionate about. I'm proud that I have hopes and dreams and I'm proud that I've been able to keep my blog/YouTube up, slowly grow my following and work with brands. These are things to be so proud of, so why do most of us keep them secret? I've realised that I kept this secret from most the people in my life for so long because I was kind of embarrassed, I didn't think they would 'get it'. I think I was hoping to be able to tell them some massive success story when I came out about my blog/YouTube. When in fact I think, just creating your blog and putting your all into something for a period of time, is a great success in itself.
Only my boyfriend and best friend really knew about my blog until recently. I spend a lot of time working on my blog and it takes up so much of my life I could'nt help it kind of, spilling into my 'real life'. I started to tell a couple friends from work. At first they didn't really get it, but they thought it was pretty cool. It wasn't until I received an amazing blogger package from one of my favourite brands, that I just could'nt keep it a secret from my family anymore. I happened to open it in front of my Dad and didn't really have an explanation for why I was receiving a large case full of makeup, so I spilled the beans. I don't think he really got it at first. He did say something along the lines of  'Oh wow that's great, good for you' kind of thing. Then it wasn't until he spread to my Mum and she told everyone and the blimmin' cat, the fact 'Corrie has a blog and YouTube channel!' It was the top news in the family. I started to get random texts from family members saying great videos etc. I was not ready for this. The thought of people reading my blog was one thing, but watching my newly created YouTube videos was another. I've never been so cringed out in my life! I wasn't confident in the slightest about my channel yet, but there was nothing I could do, it was out there.
Now I'm so happy that everyone in my life knows about one of the biggest passions in my life. Blogging and YouTube is my thing and I shouldn't have to hide it. Everyone thinks it's amazing and are completely supportive. My family are proud and that's all you can ever ask for. It's easy in this community to feel down about your blog and feel you're stuck in a rut and going nowhere compared to everyone else. Once you share with real people in your real world, they'll be amazed of what little old you can do! If you're keeping your blog secret, then I really hope you can pluck up the courage to share with someone your passion, you'll be surprised about the reaction.

Why wouldn't you share your passion with the people you love?

High End vs High Street | False Eyelashes

Today I want to talk about a product I've never really talked about on here before, false eyelashes. In the past I've worn them occasionally on special occasions or on a night out, but I've never really been a massive lover of false lashes, I was a mascara girl through and through (notice the word 'was'). My best friend, Jazz is obsessed with false lashes and wears them everyday, I just never really got it. A few weeks ago I got an email asking me if I would like to choose two sets from falselashes.co.uk. I was sceptical at first because I wasn't a massive false lash fan, until I ventured onto the site. I've never seen so many gorgeous lashes from so many different brands! Falselashes.co.uk carry over 1000 styles from brands such as Eylure, Ardell, Eye Candy, House Of Lashes, Red Cherry and tons more, they have all the brands you could think of!
As I was a bit new to the whole lash thing, I thought I would choose one high street brand I had tried and heard of before, Eylure and one high end brand, House Of Lashes. This way I would be able to get a real feel for the whole false lash thang!
Eylure Enchanted Lashes in Forever
House Of Lashes Sweet Romance False Eyelashes
I chose the Eylure Enchanted Lashes in Forever. I love lashes that are longer on the outside, I think they're so flattering and girly. The Forever lashes are gorgeously bold and full for a fluttering enchanted look. These lashes come with a little adhesive and easy to follow instructions. This was so helpful for me because I don't use these on a regular basis so any tips are well appreciated! I followed the steps and cut my lashes to fit my eye and applied the glue, I found these pretty easy to apply, a tad fiddly but that's to be expected! Once I got my lashes on I loved the full romantic look! I love how easy it is to get perfect lashes and there's no mess like there can be with mascara!
I wore these all day and they stayed put through shopping, cleaning and the windy English weather! As I'm a false lash newby I did feel like I could feel the presence of the lashes most of the time, but not in a painful or uncomfortable way. I think I just needed to get used to them. I loved having gorgeous lashes all day long. The Eylure Enchanted Lashes in Forever are perfect for so many different occasions, they're bold and full making them perfect for a night out and dinners, but they're also a little shorter than most making them perfect for everyday glam too. After wearing these all day I was quickly turning into a false lash girl! I now want to wear these just to clean the dishes!

The next day I wanted to give my House Of Lashes Sweet Romance Lashes a go. The Sweet Romance Lashes are handmade from 100% human hair. They're curled and long for a romantic and sophisticated full lash effect. Of course I couldn't ignore how gorgeous and cute these lashes are and of course the packaging, but I was disappointing that they didn't come with glue and instructions. I think this is great for the lash fanatic who is used to applying and has stacks of lash adhesive, but not so great for the lash novice. Luckily I could use the Eylure adhesive and followed these steps. I found these pretty easy to apply and the shape of these make them perfect for every eye shape. I could hardly feel these on my lids, they're very comfortable! They just felt so weightless and natural and I did love forgetting I even had them on but knowing my lashes looked gorgeous! These are the perfect lashes if you want long fluttering lashes with a natural feel and finish. They stayed put all day and were easy to take off.

Overall I can safely say I am now a self confessed false lashes convert! I'm totally into false lashes now and I want to try different brands and different styles! I can see myself wearing these on a regular bases. Overall I think I was most impressed by the Eylure Enchanted Forever Lashes, just because of the amazing quality for such an affordable price! I would like to try some other styles from House Of Lashes, perhaps more of a bolder look.
If you're a false lash fanatic or you want to give them ago, I strongly recommend falseeyelashes.co.uk. You will find something for all occasions and price ranges (plus free 1st class delivery!)

What lash brands do I need to try next beauties?

October Favourites 2016

October Favourites NARS Sin Blush, MAC Diva Lipstick, Maybelline Colossal Spider Effect Mascara and Maybelline The Rock Nudes Palette
It's been a long time since I've wrote about my monthly favourites but I thought it's a whole new season now and it's about time I show you what I've been loving lately. I've been trying a few new makeup bits recently and I've found some real gems! Autumn/ Winter is in full swing so of course you know what that means - dark bold lips, warm plum cheeks and plummy/bronze eyes!

October Favourites Maybelline Colossal Spider Effect Mascara and Maybelline The Rock Nudes Palette
October Favourites NARS Sin Blush, MAC Diva Lipstick
My first favourite is the gorgeous NARS Sin blush. I bought this back in the Summer especially for this time of year. I wanted a plummy blush for Autumn time. Sin is a beautiful plum mauve with a warm golden sheen. This is the perfect blush for your Autumn looks.  I love how Sin still adds warmth to your Autumn look thanks to the subtle golden sheen. I'm a bit of a NARS 'blush-aholic', I just love the soft blendable formula and the colour pay off and Sin does not disappoint.
To go with my berry plum cheeks I've been loving my Maybelline Rock Nudes Palette this past month. Usually I steer towards the high end eye shadows but I've been very impressed with this palette. I love the shimmering smoky shades. I usually stick to bronzes and browns but this palette has made me explore different shades. Each shade is beautifully soft making this so lovely to apply. Even though the shades can look a little scary to the smoky eye newb, they aren't too over dramatic when you first apply, the formula is very blendable. I've been loving the purples, blush and silvers. The shade range is just perfect for Autumn/Winter.
To finish of my rock nude eye looks, I've been using Maybelline's The Colossal Spider Effect Mascara. I knew I would love this, you just can't go wrong with a Maybelline mascara. I'm all about the black dramatic long lashes and this delivers all three. The plastic spider brush makes sure your lashes are long and defined with no clumping. My lashes are bold, defined and dramatic. This mascara ups your make up game every time.
Of course I can't do a favourites without mentioning my go to lipstick of the month. For me lipstick is the most exciting part of any look and I've been using MAC's Diva every chance I get. It's THE perfect Autumn lip, a bold burgundy matte. Diva is just so beautiful, it give you that bold intense dark lip, whilst being so irresistibly flattering too. There's just something so classic about a matte red, Iv'e found the formula to be great too - none of those crusty dry lips from this matte! I know I'm going to love Diva for years to come.

What have you been loving this past month beauties

LUSH Shoot For The Stars

LUSH shoot for the stars bath bomb
We're heading into official Winter time now and Christmas is fastly approaching. To me this is the perfect time for a luxurious LUSH bath! There's nothing better on a cold Winter's evening then getting into a hot, cosy and gorgeous smelling bath. Naturally I've picked up a fair few Christmas LUSH products (you can see my haul video here) and I'm really enjoying using them.

LUSH shoot for the stars bath bomb
LUSH shoot for the stars bath bomb
One of the bath bombs I was most excited to use was Shoot For The Stars. I've never used this one before and I'm completely unsure why! This year LUSH have gone for a deep blue colour with three golden sparkly stars, it just looks so cute and cosy - perfect for night time. When I first gave this a sniff I was pleasantly surprised. This could be my favourite ever LUSH scent. It's just so gorgeously uplifting and calming. Shoot for the stars has a sweet honey scent with a fruity Brazilian orange and bergomot blend too. The scent is so delicious and soothing, all at the same time - I literally want to eat it! When I put this in my bath it instantly started dissolving and leaving my water a beautiful midnight blue. Once the bomb has done its job, you're left with 3 chunky golden shimmering stars that slowly dissolve, turning the water into a mesmerising dark turquoise with golden shimmers running through it (definitely a bath fit for a mermaid!). As soon as I got in, I felt my whole body just instantly feel silky smooth. Shoot For The Stars is packed full of moisturising oils (almond, bergamot and Brazilian orange) as well as cocoa butter, cream of tartar and coconut cream. I don't think I have ever had such a moisturising and soothing bath!
The beautiful mermaid water, soothing honey scent and of course the moisturising oils made sure that this was the longest bath I have ever took. I was probably in there for about half an hour! This is the perfect bomb if you need to relax and unwind after a stressful and tough week. You can't help but just feel so calm and recharged. I can't recommend this enough, it's the perfect stress reliever and definitely one for night time. If you're having a tough time trying to get to sleep, Shoot For The Stars is just the thing you need. I've never felt so calm and cosy.

I can't wait to stock up on my new favourite LUSH product. Shoot For The Stars really is the perfect way to unwind.

5 Family Halloween Films

Family Halloween Films Hotel Transylvania, Hotel Transylvania 2, Hocus Pocus, The Little Vampire, The Nightmare Before Christmas
Halloween is fast approaching and it's time to get into the spooky spirit! To me Halloween is a time of fun and enjoyment that involves food and films! You don't have to love horror films to enjoy Halloween. Today I'm going to share five family festive favourites.

1. Hocus Pocus. Now this is THE mother of Halloween films. To me you can't go a Halloween without watching Hocus Pocus, it's a family favourite. Hocus Pocus is filled with fun and laughs thanks to the three gruesome witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy) that are  accidentally conjured up one Halloween night by 3 feisty kids. The witches are set to put a spell on the whole town, can the kids stop them?

2.Hotel Transylvania. Now I think this is my favourite Halloween film. In a nutshell - Count Dracula (Adam Sandler) runs Hotel Transylvania and invites all his monster friends (Frankenstein, The Mummy & his wife, The Invisible Man, the Werewolf Family and many more) to his Daughter, Mavis' (Selena Gomez) birthday party at the hotel. The party is going great until an ordinary human stumbles into the hotel and changes everything. Hotel Transylvania will have the whole family laughing all night long. The script and comedy are brilliant and the thought and imagination that have gone into this film really make it fantastic!

3.Hotel Transylvania 2. Count Dracula opens up Hotel Transylvania to monsters AND humans for the first time since his daughter has settled down and started a family with a human. Dracula hopes that his vampire genes would be passed down in full force to his half vampire/half human grandson Dennis. Dracula rounds up all his monster friends up again to help him push his Grandson to find his vampire abilities in their very own monster boot camp. Again this is a Halloween masterpiece, filled with so much comedy and laughs.

4. The Nightmare Before Christmas. This is THE perfect film if you're a massive Halloween & Christmas fan! This is essentially bringing the two together. Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King from Halloween Town stumbles upon Christmas Town and wants to learn more. He becomes converted to Christmas and wants to spread the Christmas joy in his Halloween Town. Will the residents of Halloween Town be able to pull of a Christmas like the residents of Christmas Town? (Kidnapping Santa on Xmas Eve probably isn't the best way to start!).

5. The Little Vampire. This ones a little more suited for the kids! A bit more cheesy, but it definitely will get you in the Halloween spirit. Little Tony moves to Scotland with his family and struggles to make friends, until one night a kid vampire flies in through his window and a new friendship is born. He then learns his new best friend Rudolph the vampire and his whole race are threatened to be wiped out by the vampire hunter, can Rudolph and Tony stop him?

What are your plans this Halloween?

Happy Halloween!

Autumn Lipsticks

I'm back with my last Autumn themed makeup picks post! Of course I do have more Autumn and Halloween posts and videos so don't you worry, but this will be my last Autumn picks this year. I want to finish with a bang and share with you my all time favourite Autumn lipsticks! I do have a video for you if that's more your thing...

I'm a big believer in the warm nudes, dark reds and deep purples in the Autumn time. I think they just warm up your look and really look great with the seasonal colours. I've talked more in depth in my video about each shade and you can also see me wearing each one, but in a nutshell:

NARS Audacious Anita | A beautiful satin warm rose nude. Looks great all year round, gives a gorgeous finish and very comfortable to wear.
MAC Brave | Similar to Anita but more pink toned. This is a matte finish and will give you that Kylie Jenner look we all crave!
Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Kate 107 | A must have in your makeup bag! A complimentary deep cherry red. Matte finish. Looks amazing this time of year and brings out the whiteness in your teeth.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate 30 | A berry plum with a creamy finish. Similar to MAC cremesheens.
MAC Rebel | A satin finished pinky plum, a great berry shade this time of year.
MAC Diva | A more vampy deep burgundy red with a dark purple hint. the perfect matte to add a bold statement to your Autumn look.

Maybelline Colorshow Preppy Woman | The Perfect Autumnal Nail

Maybelline Colorshow Preppy Woman Nail Polish Dear Magenta, Top Coat Tweedy and Runway Rose
I'm back with another Autumnal post (no surprise there!). I've talked about Autumn Eye Shadows, Autumn LipsticksAutumn Candles and now it's time for my Autumn Nail Polish. I want to talk about one brand in general Maybelline. Maybelline sent me three of  their new Preppy Woman shades and I have fallen in love with them!

If you're looking for that sophisticated neutral Autmnal hue to warm up your look this Winter, this may just be the collection for you. These gorgeous winter warmers all have a gel based formula giving you a professional and polished look. The polish glides on so smoothly thanks to the tapered edged brush. For me the tapered edge is a must, I just can't get on with a polish that doesn't have this shaped brush. The brush makes it so easy and quick to apply, reaching into all corners and groves with no mess. This quick drying formula lasts me over a week and I have a very manual job and use my hands a lot, I'm very impressed with the formula and the lasting finish! I have 3 of the 4 new shades:

Maybelline Colorshow Preppy Woman Nail Polish Swatches Dear Magenta, Top Coat Tweedy and Runway Rose
Dear Magenta | Sophisticated magenta plum
Top Coat Tweedy | Gold and silver 'shred' top coat
Runway Rose | Warm rose beige neutral

At the moment I'm wearing Runway Rose, it's the most beautiful warm neutral shade. This is so perfect for Autumn time. I love these earth neutral hues, they look great with any outfit! I've been wearing Top Coat Tweedy on my ring finger to give my nails a bit more of a shimmering, festive look. Thanks to the gold and silver 'shred' like specs, Top Coat Tweedy will look great with a million different shades and finishes, it's especially perfect for this time of year with all the festivities!

If you're looking for the perfect autumnal nail polishes, then check out Maybelline's new Colorshow Preppy Woman collection beauties!

Bath And Body Works Autumn Haul Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow 3-Wick Candle, Pumpkin Pecan Wt Cinnamon Puaffles 3-Wick Candle, Leaves 3-wick Candle, Honeycrisp Apple 3-wick Candle, Sweet Pumpkin Mini Candle, Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Gentle Foaming Hand Soap and Golden Autumn Day Hand Cream
I cannot express how excited I am to share this post with you! If you haven't seen my Bath & Body Works Autumn Haul video then this is the post for you.  I've managed to get my hands on some gorgeous Autumn Bath & Body Works treats in the UK! Every year I'm just so jealous of  everyone getting all the gorgeous Autumn B&BW goodies that aren't available over here. It doesn't look like I'll be making my way over to America any time soon, so I just knew I had to find a way to get all the Autumn goodness! So I asked Twitter and a lovely girl replied saying I should use the service GoSend, so that is exactly what I did - and here is the outcome.

Go Send are a shipping service and in a nutshell, they give you an American address you can get things posted to, then Go Send will send it to you in the UK. Go Send are the middle man. Enough of the boring details let's talk about candles!

Bath And Body Works Autumn Haul Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow 3-Wick Candle and Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Gentle Foaming Hand Soap
Bath And Body Works Autumn Haul Pumpkin Pecan Waffles 3-Wick Candle and Honeycrisp Apple 3-Wick Candle
Bath And Body Works Autumn Haul Leaves 3-Wick Candle, Golden Autumn Day Hand Soap and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Mini Candle
I found it soooo hard to choose what candles to pick, B&BW have so many Autumn candles that sound so delicious. After probably about an hour on the site, I managed to make a decision. The first candle I thought just sounded delicious was Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow. This is such a cute candle, it's a lovely cream colour so it looks great everywhere and it has just the cutest bronzed pumpkin lid! This looks so festive. Of course this smells delicious, sweet and creamy with a warm toasted marshmallow scent.
Next I wanted something that just screamed Autumn, so I picked up Leaves. To me this is literally Christmas in a jar! It's a lovely spicy scent, with a fresh red apple hint to it. This candle is very warming and indulgent. If you've ever been to Hamleys at Christmas time, this is exactly what this smells like!
Next I thought I'd pick up something more fruity and fresh and I had my eye on Honeycrisp Apple. To me this smells exactly like LUSH's festive bath bomb, So White. It has a gorgeous fresh fruity apple scent that I think everyone would love. This would be a gorgeous gift, it's sweet and fruity - how could you not love this!?
The last 3-Wick candle I picked up was Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. This is another sweet warm Autumn scent. It will make any room so cosy and warm with it's Maple Syrup waffle scent. If you love a sugary scent, this is the one for you.
I also picked up a mini candle because there are just so many scents to choose from, I wanted to try as much as I could without spending hundreds of pounds so I picked up Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. To me Cinnamon is just such a festive scent, the spicy warmth makes any room more cosy. This little cutie also has a creamy vanilla hint to it so it's not too overpowering. This is the perfect blend of sweet and spice.
One of the other products I wanted to try from B&BW were the Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps. These just sound amazing and I chose Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte. I love the sweet toasted smell of marshmallows and I love that they've put a pumpkin latte festive twist on this. The hand soap comes out so creamy and soft in a luxurious foam. This is so creamy on the hands and smells amazing! I wish I picked up so many more of these!
Last but not least I got myself a hand cream as I was in desperate need of one with the weather changing. I chose Golden Autumn Day. This is such a beautiful fresh mandarin scent. The cream is soft and luxurious and the scent lasts forever. I've really enjoyed using this and I can't wait to try more.

So that's all my Autumn Bath & Body Works goodies I picked up. I can't wait to make another order! They have so many amazing scents and their products are beautiful and such great quality. There's always so many great deals on the site, so if you're after some new festive treats, definitely try Bath & Body Works!
UK beauties we can get our hands on these gorgeous treats, just use Go Send!

Autumn Eye Shadows

Autumn Eye Shadows NARS Kalahari Duo, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fantasy, Urban Decay Naked Palette, Charlotte Tilbury's Golden Goddess Luxury Eye Shadow Palette, MAC Mulch & MAC Cranberry.
Finally it's time for all the Autumn posts and I couldn't be more excited! I have lots of Autumn and Winter goodness coming your way and today, I thought I'd talk about some of my favourite Autumn eye shadows. Last year I talked about my favourite Autumn Bronze Eye Shadows and this year I want to do a bit more of an updated version.

Autumn Eye Shadows NARS Kalahari Duo, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fantasy.
I still want to include my NARS Kalahari because it's just sooo pretty! I'm not going to talk about this too much as I did last year too, but it's just the perfect little duo for Autumn time. It has a beautiful shimmering bronze shade and a matte warm bronzed chocolate. These are the perfect pair to give you a warm glittering Autumn eye look. I like to use the shimmer for the base and matte in the crease, it's great for everyday - definitely a duo to get your hands on.
The newest addition to my eye shadow collection is Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Fantasy. Maybelline have bought some new gorgeous shades out this Autumn and I'm loving Fantasy right now. It's a beautiful metallic shimmering bronze with a gorgeous silver flex running through it. I want to describe it as a bronze taupe but funnily enough Maybelline already have a 'Bronze Taupe' in this range. I love the fact you don't need any other shadows when you use the Color Tattoos. I like to just blend this in with my fingers and it creates a look all by itself. Apply it deeper in the crease and you won't need anything else.

Autumn Eye Shadows Charlotte Tilbury The Golden Goddess Luxury Eye Shadow Palette
Another palette that just has Autumn written all over it is Charlotte Tilbury's Golden Goddess Luxury Palette. These have got to be some of the softest and creamiest shadows I have ever used. They feel so soft, almost like a cream shadow even though they are powder - it's mind blowing! All the shades in this are just so perfect for Autumn, I've done a full post on all the shades here. Today I'm going to talk about the first shade in the palette, a warm champagne shimmer. This is the perfect base to any bronze eye look. I like to pair this with the last shade in the palette. The reddish golden bronze. I use this shade in the crease for a bronze eye with a warm red hint. I can't wait to bring this palette out again, all of the shades are just beautiful.

Autumn Eye Shadows Urban Decay Naked Palette, MAC Mulch and MAC Cranberry
Another newby this year to my collection is the original Urban Decay NAKED palette, how have I only just got this!? I'm a massive bronze eyes fan, so this is literally the perfect palette and definitely perfect for Autumn. The two shades I've been drawn to recently are Sin for the base and Sidecar in the crease. Sin's a shimmering pink champagne, great to give you a light shimmering base. The one I've really been loving though is Sidecar. Sidecar is a true golden brown bronze. It's just beautiful, I can't stop staring at it. The formula is lovely and creamy, it's so soft to the touch. Of course the shade blends beautifully. Sidecar really adds a gorgeous warmth to your look for the Autumn time.
Last but not least I want to share two of my favourite MAC eye shadows from my palette, that I think will be perfect this time of year. The first is Mulch, another bronzed brown with a tiny bit of golden shimmer. Mulch is a velvet finish so it has a gorgeous soft formula, making this so easy to apply and blend. Another warm neutral shade perfect for Autumn time. The last shadow I want to talk about is Cranberry. I haven't even used this yet but I bought it recently especially for Autumn time. It's a beautiful (you guessed it) cranberry red with a warm purple tint to it. This is going to be lovely this time of year, the shimmer is subtle and it does feel a little festive. I can't wait to use this, I think this is going to be the perfect shade to steer me away from my usual golden bronzes.

I hope you've enjoyed this years Autumn eye shadows, what are your favourite shades this time of year?
