Autumn Bronze Eye Shadows

Summer has come to a close and Autumn will soon be making it's arrival and I for one can't wait!
To me Autumn means colder weather, snuggley jumpers and socks as well as the lead up to Christmas! From the beginning of September I start to feel festive and can't wait for hot chocolates, ear muffs and rosy cheeks. I've already dug out my Uggs and bought some new winter boots! Autumn is also a time for new makeup looks, woohooo! bring on the berry lips, strong brows, highlighted cheeks and one of my favourites, bronze eyes!

Autumn Bronze Eye Shadows On & On Bronze MAC Woodwinked

There's a lot of love for the bronze eyes, especially coming in to Autumn so I would like to share with you my top bronze eye shadows I will be rocking this season. In no particular order lets start with MAC's 'Woodwinked'. As soon as I set my eyes on Woodwinked I HAD to have it! It's a beautiful orange toned bronze with a coppery feel to it. It's so easy to apply and it's very buildable. This is the kind of shade you can wear in so many different ways. you can blend it in your crease to give you a gorgeous deep copper, or you can wear it all over for a subtle golden base shade. This is a true MAC must have in your palette!

I can't talk about bronze eyes and not bring up probably one of the high streets most bigged up bronze, Maybelline's Colour Tattoo 24hr in 'On and On Bronze'. On and On Bronze is a light, shimmery golden brown. This is the perfect shadow if you're in a rush or feeling a little lazy. Thanks to the creamy texture you can just sweep this on all over and it creates it's own little look. It's gorgeous and shimmery so you don't even need a crease colour, the shadow does it all for you! You can wear it light for and everyday shimmer, or a little heavier and pair it with some winged liner for a beautiful evening look.

Autumn Bronze Eye Shadows NARS Kalahari By Terry Bronze Moon

Next we have By Terry's Ombre Blackstar in 'Bronze Moon' bronze moon is a deep bronze with fine shimmers. Like all of the Ombre Blackstars, the beautiful packaging holds the creamiest, long wearing shadows I have ever used. it's very easy to apply, I like to sweep this across my lid and blend out with my finger and also add a little highlight and I'm set to go! This will be beautiful for Christmas parties, it really has a festive deep golden tone to it!

My newest bronze favourite that I've been wanting for months but only just managed to find it in stock is, a NARS Duo 'Kalahari'. I've been loving this lately and been wearing it almost everyday. It's so gorgeous for Autumn. Kalahari has two beautiful golden bronzes including 'Gold Confection', a beautiful shimmering rose gold great for all over or in the crease for a lighter gold eye look. The pigmentation is a little sheer but that makes this great for everyday and not looking to over the top. The second shade 'Sugared Cocoa' is a deeper rose gold cocoa perfect for the crease. This shade is a bit more pigmented and blends beautifully. This is a great shade for autumn as it has that earthy, rich warm hint to it that really complements this time of year. I know I will be using this a lot this season as well as all year round.

So my round up of my most loved bronzes for Autumn has come to a close and I can't wait to be shimmering gold all season long! What are your must haves for Autumn?

  2. These are absolutely my favourite shades to wear on the eyes and I will find a way to wear them all year round! As I own and love all of these except the Nars duo, it looks like I'll be checking that out next :) xx
