Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate | Nude Collection

As you have probably realised there has been a massive buzz around Rimmel's latest lipstick release, Lasting Finish by Kate Nude Collection. I have been looking forward to this release the last few weeks and couldn't wait to get my hands on them. The lasting finish Kate range have always been my absolute favourite drug store lipsticks, so of course I needed to get my hands on these gorgeous nudes!

I have to admit I'm not usually a massive nude fan, I do like a bit of colour, but that's what I love about this range. Even though they are nudes, I feel like there's a great range from light to dark, right from your pale peach tone nudes to your deep almost plum like shades. What I love about this collection is that it's perfect for everyday and for anyone who wants to add a bit of colour and experiment with lighter or darker shades, without it being too scary and daring. There's a perfect nude for every skin tone or occasion!

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Shade 40

I picked up the lightest nude, shade 40. This is a gorgeous barley there nude for those days you want to brighten up your lips a little bit, without going too crazy. This pale toned nude can work with most skin tones including very pale to darker tones.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Shade 42

42 is the next one up and this is more of a pale apricot/peach toned nude. I love this one as it adds a little bit of colour but still stays true to it's nude, barely there nature. I feel like this is a great one for those no makeup, makeup days when you want to add a bit of subtle peachy pink to your lips. This shade I think is the perfect all rounder for all skin tones.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Shade 45

The last shade I picked up was 45, one of the more darker tones. This is deeper than the other two and has a beautiful warm plum/rose pink hue to it. This was the first one I was dying to try as I love my plums, I think this would be gorgeous in the Autumn/Winter time for everyday. This is a great one for anyone wanting to build up to those deep plum shades we all love in the Winter, this would be a great shade for beginners.

All of these gorgeous nudes have the same creamy long lasting formula as the original Kate lipsticks. They're so easy to apply and a pleasure to wear. They're not drying in the slightest they're super creamy and moisturising and also have the same sweet smell.
I can't wait to pick up the rest!

  2. I really like the look of number 45 - I tend to stick to darker nudes so I don't look like I have concealer lips.
